Yeah we burned down the courthouse, and then we burned down the police station, and then we burned down the police union hall, and then we burned the cars and we opened the jail and the prison, and we burned that down too. Everywhere was red and orange light reflecting off the clouds, the entire horizon alight with the colors of the fall. The crowd was cheering and singing and dancing as the sparks flew up into the sky and it's all concrete and cement here so we didn't really have to worry. And then we went and smashed the ATM and burned down the bank, and all that was left when that fire went out was a steel vault all cracked and warped by the heat, and the songs we sang that night were the most beautiful songs you'd ever heard: songs of justice and songs of strength and songs we brought with us from our grandmas and our great grandmas that'd sit out on the porch singing and songs from our ancestors and songs of we-ain't-gonna-take-it-no-more and songs of beauty and love. I would dance again on that pig's head if I could, eat and swallow the world whole, pluck the threads of the universe with my moans.
